"The Dude Speaks" section is dedicated to a part of my past that was both fun and ridiculous. I began writing movie reviews for a website called Moviesonline.ca a now defunct movie website based out of Canada. I was one of their LA people, and I had a blast meeting one of my best friends in the process. 










I got to go to a lot of cool events, I met Wes Anderson and made a stop-motion video with Jason Schwartman to promote Fantastic Mr. Fox, I got Danny Boyle to sign my A Life Less Ordinary DVD and thank him for turning me onto Underworld. (His response "They really are great, aren't they?"), I made Simon Pegg laugh, and I got Jessica Alba to give me some fries. 

The Moviesonline site is gone, but you can find some of the writings I did over at "There's Always Mini-Golf", my blog collecting my writings. Link here, and more stuff will be archived as I see fit.

I also wrote reviews for Home Theater Magazine, a print edition magazine in the 00s where I discuss the relative merits of the home theater experience of Cheaper By The Dozen and Ghost Rider. (But I did get to write a huge piece on Twin Peaks for high I got the box set.)
